We found it very easy to construct due to the excellent instructions provided and we were quite amazed at how precisely it all fitted together. Although I am 78 years old, and my wife just a few years younger, we were able to do everything ourselves without difficulty, except that we had help for about an hour to raise the roof panels.

14' Octagon Gazebo

“I just noticed you have featured my 14' (Octagon) gazebo in your web site gallery and thought you might like to know that it withstood Hurricane Isabel in September 2003. Trees were uprooted all around the neighborhood and many homes were damaged by wind and flying debris. At one point small branches were broken out of nearby treetops and impacted the cedar shakes of the gazebo with virtually no damage. I was impressed to say the least.”

Review of Clubhouse Delivery & Great Service

“Just a note to let you know that our Cedarshed Clubhouse arrived yesterday. Excellent packaging, as no damage was evident. Had a total of 3 people helping me. We had the footprint for the structure established prior to actual delivery so, in 4.5 hours we unpackaged, off-loaded, relocated the pieces to the backyard, and erected the structure. Had furniture and oil lamps lighted that evening.

My wife and I are very pleased with:

  1. Customer service as provided by Rick Rentz
  2. Choice of shipper (ASB proved to be prompt with excellent communication assisted by internet based tracking of product, driver assisted with off-loading)
  3. Care in packaging as evidenced by plastic wrap, shims, etc.
  4. Quality of product
  5. Ease of assembly (easy to understand instructions and properly cut pieces)

A Happy Ending With Customer Service

Here's a sample of a customer service inquiry and how the staff at Cedarshed handle customers with special care. This email is between Patricia, who bought a Rancher Shed, and Bruce Cheng, President of Cedarshed.

Dear Patricia:
It is my fault that the top door trim board for your Rancher has not been sent out to you. The missing piece will be sent out today. I did talk to our production people of what transpired in this situation. The top door trim is attached to the top plate and it would appear that the top plate was affixed with the top door trim on the inside of the Rancher instead of on the outside.

Nevertheless, I appreciate your patience.

I went out and looked and sure enough, the trim piece is on the inside. I think that we reasoned that we didn't want the doors blowing in during a wind and either we were tired at that point, or just plain dumb. Whatever.
